Meet Our TeacherWilliam R. Wilson, Jr. was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. “Pastor Bill”, as he is best known, committed his heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1966, at the age of 16. His high school U.S. History teacher led Bill to the Lord, building on the solid foundation laid by Bill’s Mom and in response to years of faithful prayer by his family. While still 16, Bill preached his first sermon and he has been preaching ever since! He has a passion to share Christ with people and to help them grow into mature Christians. His heart’s desire is to faithfully use his gifts to the glory of the Lord. He has been senior pastor or associate pastor at 3 different churches over a period of nearly 40 years. In addition to his pastorate, Bill served for 23 years as President and CEO of the Berkshire Visitors Bureau, the official marketing organization for the promotion of regional tourism.
Pastor Bill’s television ministry, Until Ministries began in March 2015 and features practical Bible teaching delivered dynamically in the power of the Holy Spirit twice each week. The messages are designed to spread the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ. Moreover, the teaching is intended to equip the viewers to know the Lord better and to meet everyday challenges with godly wisdom, and to live victorious Christian lives. The Holy Spirit has gifted Pastor Bill to powerfully preach, teach and evangelize and has filled him with love, warmth and compassion. Pastor Bill lives in Adams, Massachusetts with his wife Janice. He has a grown son, Rob and a grown daughter, Tiffany and 5 grandchildren. He also, by marriage, has two sons, Dan and Jon and a daughter, Bethany and three more grandchildren. Bill’s leisure interests include classic cars, boating, woodworking and model railroading. |
