The Promises
While the concept of Advent is not found in Scripture, it always seems spiritually profitable to begin focusing on the true meaning of Christmas which is the incarnation of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. So, for the next 5 messages, we will be concentrating on the birth Of Jesus, THE REAL REASON FOR THE SEASON. In this first program, we will look at the Old Testament promises concerning His coming.
Plop Plop, Fizz Fizz
In our last 2 programs, we have taken iconic marketing slogans and, without revealing the name of the company, have made poignant, practical spiritual applications to our lives. Last time, we were challenged to let Christ’s Light shine through us to others, in order to bring them to the rest and comfort of the Lord. BTW, nothing will dim our light more than a spirit of unforgiveness. So today, we will follow up by looking at a memorable jingle from the late ‘70s and making an essential and powerful application to our daily lives about the importance of forgiveness.
We'll Leave The Light On For You
Last week, as we began our new fall programming, we applied a common phrase, which has become a brand and a marketing slogan and applied it to our spiritual lives. Today, we will look at another commonly used phrase that became a successful marketing slogan which helped to build a brand. We will use this and make an important and timely application it to our spiritual lives as well.
FIRST CALL
Today, we will see that in our daily lives, ripe with problems and challenges, going to the Lord in prayer should be our FIRST CALL in all situations. He is always accessible (24/7/365 1/4), all-knowing & all powerful to help! Our need is His Priority! Give Him the FIRST CALL!
Recognizing Sacrifices
On this Memorial Day, as we honor and recognize those brave men and women who gave their lives for their country and our freedom, we also remember that Jesus lovingly died for our spiritual lives and freedom from sin. Moreover, we can be challenged by the living sacrifice He calls us to make as we deepen our commitment to Him.
Joyfully Joshua
As we study the book of Joshua, we see an analogy between the land of Canaan and the “land” of fullness of our salvation, which God intends for us. God wants us to enter into a victorious Christian life and spiritual rest, where we are claiming and experiencing God’s blessing in full!
As we watch this important message, let us honestly ask ourselves, “Are we in the wilderness of defeat or in the land of victory? From the Scriptures, we will discover how to answer joyfully with the latter!
As we watch this important message, let us honestly ask ourselves, “Are we in the wilderness of defeat or in the land of victory? From the Scriptures, we will discover how to answer joyfully with the latter!
Emphatically Elisha
In 2 Kings 2: 1-22, we travel w/ Elijah & Elisha to 4 places where God had done great miracles before their time. As we go through the exciting experiences of these two extraordinary prophets, we will make meaningful applications to our individual lives today.
Completely Caleb
We can learn so much for our modern lives today from the example of the Old Testament character, Caleb, who served God for a lifetime exhibiting faith, faithfulness, and who truly experienced the fullness of God.
It's Okay to Lament!
If we are honest with ourselves, all of us have times of lamenting. This can take the form of legitimate mourning or grief or sincere expression of regret, but more often, also includes complaining, wailing or just plain, old whining. It can often morph into a funk or a personal pity party. Since it is a near universal human activity, even among biblical characters and since some of God’s most spiritually mature servants engage in it as we will see today, it is “okay” in one sense. But the Lord wants us to get beyond it and to help others overcome it through focusing on His Person and character, mediating on His Word, praying for the power and help of the Holy Spirit, having faith and standing firm with perseverance.
Memorable Sacrifices
On this Memorial Day, let us honor our soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom, worship our loving Savior, & commit our lives as servants to the Lord Jesus Christ!
He Can Change Your Life Part 2
Alleluia! He is Risen! He is Risen, indeed! He lives! Jesus died for our sins on the cross & rose from the grave 3 days later, so that we humans, who are all spiritually dead, could receive forgiveness, eternal life and brand new changed lives! In this message, we will continue to see how He dramatically changed the lives of some of His close followers. He can change your life, too!

The Lord Has Need Of It
As we approach the celebration of Jesus’ crucifixion and glorious resurrection, we have been looking into people and events in last days of Jesus life. Today, we will take a look at the crowds and the owner of the colt on Palm Sunday.
All She Had
As we approach the celebration of Jesus’ Crucifixion & Glorious Resurrection, we continue to look at the people & events of the final months & weeks & days of His earthly life. Today, we look at an unnamed, poor widow, whom Jesus encountered less than a week before His Crucifixion. (Note significance of timing.) Jesus was encouraged by her love of God and publicly commended her for her service & commitment to Him.
The Truth of Two Hills
As we approach the celebration of Jesus’ Crucifixion & Glorious Resurrection, we are going to prepare our hearts by looking at some of the people & events in the final months & weeks & days of His earthly life. Today, in a unique Bible message, we will look at two important hills and two important events and we will make relevant applications to our lives today.
Total Assurance
It is the time of year when many people get discouraged or depressed; COVID, unemployment, isolation, loneliness, financial pressures (over spent on Christmas; heating costs, car repairs etc.); cooped up inside, short days, lack of natural light, illness more common, bereavement more deaths, strain on relationships due to these or other factors & political unrest. Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite verses which has carried me through the darkest times of my life: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” It will help you, too!
Healing Our Land
What can we do in the context of ongoing turmoil in our country including: a year’s worth of COVID with health, employment & economic issues; a hard-fought & polarizing election with many millions seeming to be unwilling to accept results due to fraud and irregularities: a presidential inauguration far different than any in history; racial tension; violence; acts of terror; millions of individuals needing physical, emotional and mental healing etc? The answer is, it is not going to be a political solution, but a spiritual one!
Standing at the Mirror, Part 5 Kindness
We continue our series of unique Bible messages centered on the Fruit of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5: 22-23. Today, we will consider kindness, since it builds on what we have already learned and because kindness in our lives will affect and impact everyone with whom we interact. The point of looking in the mirror is to see how we are living the Fruit of the Spirit. It is not to get us down on ourselves or beat ourselves up, but rather to see what adjustments need to be made in our lives and to ask the Holy Spirit to fill us and control us so that the Fruit of the Spirit will become realities in our daily living. It is true that we may experience a temporary period of weeping or mourning because we have failed the Lord, but we must simply repent and ask God for forgiveness and then go forward quickly in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Standing At The Mirror Pt 4 Gentleness
We continue our series of unique Bible messages centered on the Fruit Of The Spirit as described in Galatians 5: 22-23. Today, we will consider gentleness, since it builds on what we have already learned and because our lives will affect and impact everyone with whom we interact. Important: the point of looking in the mirror to see how we are living the Fruit of the Spirit. Standing at the Mirror Pt 3 Patience
We continue our series of unique Bible messages centered on the Fruit of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5: 22-23. Today, we will consider patience, since the work in our lives will take time and require realistic expectations. Important: the point of looking in the mirror to see how we are living the fruit of the Spirit is not to get us down on ourselves or beat ourselves up, but rather to see what adjustments need to be made in our lives and to ask the Holy Spirit to fill us and control us so that they will become realities. It is true that we may experience a temporary period of weeping or mourning because we have failed the Lord, but we must simply repent and ask God for forgiveness and then go forward quickly in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Standing at the Mirror Pt 2 Self Control
We continue our series of unique Bible messages centered around the Fruit Of The Spirit as described in Galatians 5: 22-23. We are not looking at these important characteristics of a Christ-filled, Holy Spirit-controlled life just to learn them and to understand what they mean intellectually, but rather looking into them as we would look into a mirror to see how our Christian lives stack up against God’s standards and to make appropriate adjustments, not in our own strength but with the power and help of the Holy Spirit. Today, we will consider self-control since it helps us to live the remaining fruit of God’s Spirit even when times get tough.
Standing At The Mirror Pt 1 Faithfulness
Today, we are beginning a new series of unique Bible messages centered around the Fruit Of The Spirit as described in Galatians 5: 22-23. If you watched last week’s program you know that we are not looking at these important characteristics of a Christ-filled, Holy Spirit-controlled life just to learn them and to understand what they mean intellectually, but rather looking into them as we would look into a mirror to see how our Christian lives stack up against God’s standards and to make appropriate adjustments not in our own strength but with the power and help of the Holy Spirit. In case you missed last week, we will begin with a brief, humorous film clip that will show us how NOT to react when we look into the mirror of God’s Word! (James 1: 23-24)
Problem Solving
All of us face problems daily. Some are comparatively serious and some are minor, some are urgent and some can wait, but some are critical and even life threatening. The Bible outlines important universal principles of dealing with all problems great and small in the story of King Jehoshaphat found in 2 Chronicles 20.

Pray And Proclaim
During this time of severe testing and adversity, we have discovered that COVID & Chaos, are not the end, but a wake-up call; a warning of God’s coming judgment. So what should we, as Christians, be doing? We are to Praise, Pray, Persist and Proclaim!
COVID and Chaos Contemplations
In these very difficult days of COVID and CHAOS, many people are troubled, apprehensive or fearful. Some ask, “Is this the end of the world? Is this the final judgment? Is this a sign that the Rapture is near?” In this very timely and very important message, we will discuss the prophetic and personal significance of our current situation from a biblical perspective.
Got Problems? Part 3
Sometimes problems in our lives can become so numerous and so severe that we fall into deep discouragement. This lesson from the lives of Joshua, Elijah and other biblical characters reveals God’s remedy for discouragement.
Got Problems?, Part 2
Feeling defeated during these very difficult times in our country? There are Biblical principles for Victory! Interesting applications from the life of David illustrate these powerful principles.
Got Problems?
In these turbulent times when many of us have problems with health, finances, family tensions, discouragement, employment and so many more trials, it is comforting and uplifting to know that the Lord is here for us. In this Bible message, we will examine the biblical perspective on our problems, the biblical procedure for dealing with them and working through them in God’s way and the permanence of His solutions.
Tears In A Bottle
During today’s uncertain times of trial and tragedy, the Lord says, “I know about every one of your troubles. I have collected all your tears and preserved them in my bottle. So don’t be afraid of tears or of the hardships that cause them. Your problems are not random or meaningless. I’m calling you to trust not only in Me but also in My sovereignty. I know all things! I am in complete and perfect control! I have collected your tears because you are exceedingly precious to me. And someday, I will wipe every tear from your eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain. Rejoice in this glorious, heavenly future awaiting you!” (Sarah Young)
Why We Don't Give Up
It looked like history’s worst moment when Jesus died on the cross, but everything was different just 3 days later! During today’s uncertain times of trial and tragedy, as in all times, good and bad, the Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the reason we do not give up on daily living and working all out for Him! Don’t give up! Christ lives! Look up! Cheer up! Our life and labor in the Lord are not in vain! The Resurrection gives us the assurance we need to keep on keeping on!
Needs
The Palm Sunday crowds didn’t really recognize who Jesus was and thought they needed many different things from Him. What they really needed was a Savior who would deliver them from sin and death and give them forgiveness, eternal life and meaningful opportunities to serve Him. Palm Sunday is all about accurate recognition of who Jesus really is and how we should respond to His love and claim on our lives.
Belonging To The Body
In the first 3 chapters of Ephesians, we have concentrated on our blessings, attempting to fully understand the riches that we have in Christ. In the last 3 chapters, we will look at our behavior & our responsibilities. We should be deeply thankful for what we have, but now we must have a vision for individual & church growth, & evangelistic outreach, & the maturing of all the members of the Body of Christ, for which we also must be thankful. Thanksgiving for the blessings & the Body!
Unfathomable Riches
We have unfathomable riches in Christ! In this Bible message, we will identify some of them and attempt to understand them and more fully enter in to all fullness of blessing the Lord has for us. We will see that He can “do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.” (Ephesians 3:20)
The Great Peace Mission
Saul, a Jew who hated, persecuted and killed believers in Christ until he himself met Jesus on the road to Damascus and realized Christ had risen from the dead, was chosen by the Lord Jesus to take the message of Christ’s salvation to the Gentiles. In Ephesians 2: 11-22, he discusses the work of Christ for Gentiles in particular since most of the converts in the Ephesian church were Gentiles. In this message, we will see how Gentiles have been changed through Christ and what their responsibility is to Jewish people today.
The Believer's Biography
We’ve been trying to grasp the fullness of what God has done for us and the extent of the blessings we have in Him, so we can experience all that He has prepared for us. Today, we look at the details of our deliverance from sin and death and our entrance into righteousness, new life and service.
Walking Through 2020
As we begin the New Year, we will resume our study of the book of Ephesians and find valuable direction for 2020 in Chapter 5.
Jesus Came To Save
As we approach Christmas and celebrate the incarnation & advent of Christ, we should concentrate on Jesus, The Reason For The Season; It’s All About Jesus! Today, we will focus in on His mission: Jesus Came To Save Us From Our Sins!
Enlightened Eyes
We have been looking into the book of Ephesians trying to understand all that we have in Christ, how we fit into His perfect plan, and how we can actually experience all that He has for us, thereby realizing our full potential and joy in Him. Today, we will see how the apostle Paul prayed that the eyes of our hearts might be enlightened to see three things as we follow Christ. That we may see….
God's Perfect Plan
In our last message, we started looking into the book of Ephesians to try to deepen our understanding & realization of who we are & what we are in Christ Jesus & really enter into the great blessings which we have in Him. As we continue today, claiming the heritage God has prepared for us and enjoying the Christian life as He intended, we will bring praise & glory to God. The more we appreciate His blessings, the more we will experience the riches of our redemption.
Blessings In Christ
As Christians, we need to come to an understanding and realization of who we are and what we are in Christ Jesus and really enter into the great blessings which we have in Him. As we claim the heritage God has prepared for us, we will enjoy the Christian life as He intended and we will live lives to the praise and glory of God. The more we appreciate His blessings, the more we will experience the riches of our redemption!
Got Relationships?
If you are a regular viewer of Until Ministries, you know that every once in a while, I base my message on some personal experience in my life. Such is the case today. I am delighted to announce that my first book has just been published! Its title is “Got Relationships? Improve Them With ThirtyOneAnothers!” It is a biblically-based inspirational guide to enhancing the relationships we have in our lives. I would like to share in this television message how the Lord called me to write it and how He guided the process. I also want to share my heart’s desire for the book’s impact on both those who know the Lord and those who have not yet come to Him.
Uncommon Joy
We have been looking at lesser-known, ordinary people in the Bible, who made an extraordinary impact. Today, we will look at Epaphroditus, a behind the scenes type guy who was a huge help to the apostle Paul as he took the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world.
A Loving Father
We have been studying ordinary, lesser known Bible characters who have made an extraordinary impact. Since this program will air for the first time on Father’s Day, we will look at an ordinary father who made a huge impact not only on his own son but on millions of fathers and sons as well. Of course, the principles we see him exhibit are relevant to all Christians, not just fathers! We all are challenged to show these qualities in our Christian lives and we can all as ordinary fathers and other people be encouraged by knowing they are possible with God’s help.
The Widow's Mite
We are continuing our series studying ordinary people in the Bible who made an extraordinary impact for the Lord in their lives. Today, we will look at an unnamed, poor widow, whom Jesus publicly commended for her service & commitment to Him.
Bringing People To Jesus
We have been looking at lesser known, ordinary people who made an extraordinary impact. Today: Andrew. Anyone viewing or listening who was overshadowed by a brother or sister? Everyone has heard of Simon Peter and probably knows several things about him. But what about his brother, Andrew? Today we will learn more about the lesser known brother and, at the same time, we will be challenged in our own lives.
Love And Loyalty
On this Memorial Day weekend, we pause to lovingly remember and honor those brave men and women who paid the ultimate price and gave their lives for our country and our freedom. At the same time, we continue our series on ordinary people who made an extraordinary impact in life as recorded in the Bible. We will take a look at the life of Jonathan who also gave his life for his country, the nation of Israel.
Nameless
Although her name is not given and little is said about her in Scripture, this young slave girl was a faithful witness for the Lord despite adverse circumstances in a hostile environment. Also, she had a major spiritual impact upon Naaman, a powerful army captain and many others around her.
Answer His Call
The Lord is calling YOU. Our Heavenly Father has a specific purpose in mind for you. Listen carefully to His call on your life and respond willingly and enthusiastically. In this message we will explore how He wants each of us to make an impact for Him.
VICTORY!
Alleluia, He is Risen! As we celebrate the glorious resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, we give praise and thanks for the great victory He won over death, sin, the world, the flesh and the Devil. Christ Lives!
Make It Personal!
We have been looking at various events leading up to Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. It is easy to look at events at this time of year as general history celebrated during a specific season and not see them as close up and personal and a vital part of our daily lives. It is made worse by fables and commercialization and pathetic ignorance of what Easter really means. This year my plea is that all people will make it personal. I pray that each and every one of you will see and realize that Jesus did these things for you personally. It is true that He died for the sins of the whole world, but you need to see Him dying personally for you; bearing your sin on the cross and triumphantly rising from the dead, personally for you, to give you new life!
This Cup
Jesus prayed in Gethsemane, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me: yet not as I will, but as You will.” What did He mean and what was the full significance of what He asked the Father? Learn the answer to these questions and more in this touching Bible message.
God's Special Guidance Part 2
In this follow up message, we discuss some things God promises during the process of us seeking His special guidance.
God's Special Guidance
In addition to God’s revealed will for all our lives, which we find in Scripture, there is special, specific guidance for our individual lives, which the Lord graciously imparts to us as we follow Him. Such questions as, Where do I live? Where do I work? Where do I go to college? Whom do I marry? What do I buy? Is it ok to….? etc. fall into this category. His special guidance for our life is usually not a complete blueprint; is more like an unrolling scroll. So close walk with Him is vital!
God's Will For Me
What does God want me to do? Many people ask about what God’s will is for their lives. In this message, we will see the will of God, in Christ Jesus, concerning all of us. We will concentrate on His general will for all His people. In future messages, we will look at finding His specific will for individual lives.
Accept One Another
As we continue to look at the “one anothers” of the New Testament, we come to Accept One Another. As Christians, we are to actively and warmly welcome and receive others in love, on the basis of Christ’s sacrifice for us. Jesus loves everyone the same, never excluding anyone and that is what He expects of us!
Be Hospitable To One Another
As we continue to look at the “one another’s” of the New Testament, we come to “Be hospitable to one another”. This is an often neglected topic (in both preaching and practice) but it is a very important command from the Lord regarding our interactions with other people. There is strong biblical support for extending hospitality to one another both by direct command & by example.
Forgive One Another
This message begins a new series highlighting key Bible concepts which include the phrase “one another” that will guide us in our interactions with others and help to strengthen our relationships. We begin with “Forgive One Another.”
S Is For Salvation

We are taking the 5 letters of His name, & studying an aspect of His being, character, mission or gift that starts w/ that letter. Today: S Is For Salvation
U Is For Unconditional Love

S Is For Scapegoat

E Is For Exact
As we continue the Christmas season & celebrate the incarnation & advent of Christ, we are concentrating on Jesus, The Reason For The Season; It’s All About Jesus. J Is For Joy
As we enter the Christmas season and celebrate the incarnation and advent of Christ, we will concentrate on Jesus, for He is the Reason For The Season; It’s All About Jesus. We will take the 5 letters of His name, 1 in each of 5 messages and study a part of His being, character, mission or gift that starts w/ that letter. Today: J is for Joy!
Dwelling Forever
The well-known final phrase of Psalm 23, “And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever”, is not only a statement of future fact, but of present conditions and responsibilities.
Goodness and Mercy
Just as well-cared for sheep express their contentment and confidence in the shepherd, so ought we, as the Lord’s sheep; but our responsibility goes beyond receiving to giving, as well.
Anointed
Just as the shepherd anoints the heads of the sheep as an anecdote for troubles of various kinds, so our Good Shepherd has anointed us with His Holy Spirit in at least 3 important problem areas.
The Table
In times of uncertainty and need, just as a shepherd prepares the summer “tablelands” (high mountain plateaus w/ quality summer grazing ranges) in advance for the arrival of his flock, so our good Shepherd goes ahead of us anticipating our needs and coping with dangers that could destroy us. He wants us to thrive on a higher plane.
Rod And Staff
In order to be fully prepared for our lives and their daily challenges, we must be sure that we are properly equipped, as a skilled shepherd would be, as he faces the problems of his difficult tasks.
Through The Valley
For sheep and for ourselves, the journey to higher ground includes treks through many dark valleys, where the sheep can benefit from the shepherd’s care and protection.
Paths
Since we, like sheep, do not always prefer what is ultimately best for us, we must believe in the Good Shepherd’s plan and choose to follow His path so that His name may be glorified by our lives.
Restoration
As stranded sheep depend on the corrective assistance of the diligent shepherd, so we should rely on our Good Shepherd for the restoration of our souls when we fall into spiritual problems.
Still Waters
The vital requirement of the sheep for fresh, pure water & the 3 main sources of it available to the early Middle Eastern shepherds, teach us valuable lessons about the Lord’s provision, presence & plan in our lives. The key to where water can be obtained lies with the shepherd. It is he who knows where the best drinking water places are. In fact, very often he is the one, who with much effort and industry, has provided the watering places
Green Pastures
Considering the nature of sheep & of the land in the middle east, the words, “ He makes me to lie down in green pastures” make a strong statement about the presence & provision of the good shepherd, & by example, give us answers for the problems of our human lives.
No Want
As we look at literal sheep and their relationship to a good shepherd, which provides satisfaction, serenity and security, we will learn much about ourselves as sheep and the Lord Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd.
My Shepherd
As we begin a new series of messages, we will take a unique and deeper look at one of the most well-known portions of Scripture: Psalm 23. In this first lesson, we will reflect on all that He is and all that He has done. We will realize with excitement and devotion that HE, the Lord God is my Shepherd, my Owner, my Life Manager, if I place my faith and trust in Him.
Protection
A Biblical look at God’s Protection of His children, illustrated by a real-life frightening experience & based on Psalm 91.
A Biblical look at God’s Protection of His children, illustrated by a real-life frightening experience & based on Psalm 91.
Down By The Riverside
Lydia, Paul’s 1st Christian convert in Europe, did great things for God because she had an open heart, an open home and an open hand. She boldly stood for her faith and passed it on to her family and household. Learn more about her exciting story and see how we can be challenged in our lives today by her walk with the Lord.
Tears In A Bottle
Got troubles? As David fears for his life and flees his enemies, he cries out to God. His petitions to the Lord to be attentive to his pain and troubles and his desperate plea for God to remember his agony are recorded for us in Psalm 56. You and I can receive great assurance and comfort during our own struggles by understanding and applying this Scripture to our lives today.
Cross Over
In II Kings 2: 1-22, we travel w/ Elijah & Elisha to four places where God had done great miracles before their time. As we go through the exciting experiences of these two extraordinary prophets, we will make meaningful applications to our individual lives today.
Hot Lips
Did this title spark your interest? Did you think it was a rerun of MASH? This program may not be exactly what you expected, but it contains a very important message for each of our lives!
Why We Don't Give Up
It looked like history’s worst moment when Jesus died on the cross, but everything was different just 3 days later! The Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the reason we do not give up on living and serving daily, all out for Him! Don’t give up! Christ lives! Look up! Cheer up! Our life and labor in the Lord are not in vain! The Resurrection gives us the assurance we need to keep on keeping on!
Raised To New Life
Alleluia! He Is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed! On this glorious Resurrection Day, we are going to look at one of the most uplifting and encouraging chapters in the entire Bible, Romans Chapter 8. It starts with the wonderful truth that there is absolutely NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus! What a wonderful position to be in! This is only possible because of what happened on Resurrection Day over 2000 years ago. As we read John’s account of the Lord’s resurrection, we will see how three prominent biblical characters, who were present that day, received a status of NO CONDEMNATION and benefited by, and were protected by the work of Christ in dying for sin and rising from the dead.
Wounds For Healing
It is that time of year when our thoughts are especially in tune to Christ’s sacrifice for us on the cross, and his glorious resurrection. Therefore, I devote some Bible messages to what I call “Exchanges At The Cross”. In the past we have looked at Christ’s Riches Exchanged For Our Poverty and Christ’s Righteousness Exchanged For Our Sin. Today we will examine Christ’s Wounds Exchanged For Our Healing. Over the next couple of weeks, as we are reminded of his wounds, let us reflect on His tremendous healing power in our lives!
Love One Another
Today we look at the Lord's command to love one another, perhaps the most all-inclusive of all our instructions as to how to interact with one another. In this lesson, learn about God's love for us and our response in loving Him. Then, see how we can love others as He loves us and the impact that can have on our Christian walk and witness.
Encourage One Another
Today as we continue the series on our biblical responsibilities for interacting with one another, we will look at one that is personally very important and very precious to me: “encourage one another” . The encouragement I receive from others is a vital part of my ministry! I am so blessed to have faithful supporters who pray for me regularly and constantly encourage me. Learn how you, too, can be an encouragement to others around you.
Admonish One Another
As we continue in our “One Another” series which is designed to help us be stronger Christians as we start 2018, we come to a difficult one; one that is difficult to do & difficult to preach about. But I share it with you because God has called me to teach the entire Word of God, not just the parts I like or find easy. Moreover, this topic is very important in today’s society where there is so little emphasis on accountability. As we learn about, obey & put into practice this truth, we will become more faithful, complete individual servants & the Body of Christ will be strengthened.
Bear With One Another
As we continue looking into Scripture to see how we should be interacting with others, we find that we are instructed to “bear with one another”. In this Bible message, discover the importance of tolerance, patience, gentleness and forgiveness. Learn how these can become realities in our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Find out how the Body of Christ, comprised of all the believers throughout the world, can benefit as this command is faithfully obeyed.
Honor One Another
As we enter 2018, it is important that we all take the opportunity of a fresh start and examine ourselves as Christians. It is a great time to look into Scripture to see how we should be interacting with one another, with the intent of becoming, through the Holy Spirit, more spiritually mature individuals and strengthening the body of believers in Christ as a whole. We begin with the command to “Honor One Another” found in Romans 12: 10. We will discover what it means to put others first, how we stack up individually and how to put this important truth into action in our daily lives.
Dec 31 A Christmas Carol Act 5
In the finale of our Christmas series entitled “A Christmas Carol”, we will analyze the well-known Carol, O Come All Ye Faithful and apply the biblical truths of this beloved song to challenges for the New Year and for our spiritual growth in 2018.
A Christmas Carol Act 4
Arguably the most beloved Christmas Carol of all time, Silent Night has a fascinating history and a uniquely powerful spiritual impact. Learn the background and discover the personal significance of this well-known hymn in this Bible message.
This beloved Carol was based on Psalm 98 and written by Isaac Watts who was born in 1674 in the United Kingdom. In his mid-teens he became dissatisfied with the music in the church. When he complained, his father who was the pastor said, “Then give us something better young man!” Isaac did just that and is credited with writing over 600 hymns in his lifetime. Joy To The World was published in 1719 when Isaac was 45 years old. Interestingly the hymn is more about Jesus Second Coming than his birth in Bethlehem. As the song says, “Let every heart prepare Him room!”
A Christmas Carol Act 2
The history and background of the times during which the beloved Carol, It Came Upon A Midnight Clear, was written are amazingly similar to the world situation at the time of Jesus’ birth and to that of our society today! And, the solution is the same! We will discover these similarities and apply valuable principles to our own lives as we prepare for 2018. Interestingly, this Carol was written in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts near where UNTIL MINISTRIES is based.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL ACT I
As we approach the celebration of the Incarnation of the Son Of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, we are going to look at a series of traditional Christmas Carols. Although we will learn about the history and cultural background of each Carol, we will concentrate on the biblical content and deep spiritual meaning contained in each. We begin the series with a message on the beloved Carol, O Little Town of Bethlehem. We will see that God can use people and places which are considered insignificant to do great things as He accomplishes His eternal purpose.
In the story of Nicodemus, we learn through the words of Jesus, the true meaning of the often misused and misunderstood term, “Born Again”. In this message, we will thoroughly explain that most important concept. We will also be powerfully challenged, as we apply events in the life of Nicodemus to our own lives today.
POWER TO SHINE
In our last message, we talked about Jesus shining out of our lives as we allow Him to live through us. We are not the light. He is the light and we reflect His light. But how do we do that? Where does the power come from? Today we will answer those and other important questions, which relate to shining for Jesus Christ in this dark world.
Shine, Jesus, Shine
It is exciting to share our faith! There is great importance and urgency in reaching the people around us for the Lord Jesus Christ and it should be a top priority for us on a daily basis. The best way to bring others to Christ is to let Jesus shine through our lives so that they can see the reality of a Christ-filled life. Jesus and his followers emphasize this by using illustrations for our high calling.
SPIRITUAL VACATION
Every once in a while, I share an experience from my life and develop a Bible message around it. Today’s sermon is based on a recent vacation which included a strong spiritual impact and featured powerful spiritual experiences centering around the Lord as the Creator, Sustainer and Great Redeemer of our universe.
DIVINE NAMES, PART 5
In this message, we will look at a different root name for God, “El” combined with another word, “Shaddai” and study the name of God, El Shaddai which means the All Sufficient One. We shall see how the Lord is all sufficient for everything that we need and desire. We will also discover errors that we frequently make that prevent us from experiencing all that he wants to do for us.
DIVINE NAMES, Part 4
.In the Divine Name, Jehovah-Nissi, we learn that the Lord is Our Banner, a flag or sign of victory. In the Old Testament, God reveals this attribute to Moses. In the New Testament, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is Jehovah-Nissi in the flesh, overcomes the world, the flesh and the devil and gains victory over sin for believers by dying on the cross and rising again triumphantly. In this practical and important message, you will discover how you can win the spiritual battles in your life. You will also be challenged to” fly your Christian Banner” before others in order to win them for Christ.
Divine Names, Part 3
In the Divine Name, Jehovah-Shalom, we learn that the Lord is Peace. In the Old Testament, God reveals this attribute to Gideon. In the New Testament, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is Jehovah-Shalom in the flesh, procures peace with God by the shedding of His blood on the cross of Calvary. In this practical and important message, discover how you can have peace with God and how you can experience daily peace in your life regardless of your circumstances.
DIVINE NAMES PART 2
In the Divine name, Jehovah- Rapha, we see God’s power of healing revealed. In the Lord Jesus Christ, who is Jehovah- Rapha in the flesh, we learn of many miracles of healing. In this message we will discover more about God’s healing and develop a biblical perspective of Divine healing today.
DIVINE NAMES PART 1
In our series of messages on the names of God found in Scripture, we have come to Jehovah-Shammah which means The Lord Is There. This brings us great comfort knowing that He is with us even in our darkest hours, but it also challenges us to "Practice His Presence" in our thoughts, words and deeds |

Servant!
February 28, 2016
Jesus is the Son of God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, yet He humbled Himself to come to this earth in human flesh and to endure the ignominious death of a Roman cross in payment for our sin. Right before His betrayal, arrest and crucifixion, Jesus humbled Himself to do the work of a servant and washed the disciples' feet. In doing so, He left a powerful lesson, example, challenge and command for us today regarding love, forgiveness and humility.

Zacharias and Elizabeth were a godly Jewish couple who were unable to have children. God answered their prayers late in life and blessed them with a son, John. Born just a few months before Jesus, John the Baptist, as he came to be called, was a righteous and powerful preacher who prepared the way for Jesus' ministry. The lessons we learn from John and his parents can help prepare our hearts for Jesus and Christmas over 2,000 years later!
